Every season of healing begins with being truly understood. I help people name emotions they’ve struggled to define and make sense of the stories they carry. Together, we become investigators—curious, compassionate, and committed to uncovering the root causes of distress. I offer a space where imperfection is expected, progress is celebrated, and therapy is a partnership, not a prescription. My goal isn’t to make you perfect. I am here to help you feel more like yourself.

Seasons of Mind

A man in a dark blue suit and colorful tie sitting at a wooden desk, smiling in a professional office with dark wood paneling and modern decor.

I’ve worked across residential treatment centers, acute inpatient settings, and private practice, walking alongside youth, families, and adults through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.Whether it’s a child struggling with severe trauma, a family feeling lost and unsure how to connect, or a Black or brown person navigating the intricacies of sexual identity, racial trauma and systemic racism, I serve as both advocate and interpreter, helping bridge the gap between what’s felt and what’s understood.

I am a doctorally prepared board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who practices traditional and integrative psychiatry. I believe there is no such thing as emotionally weak. Instead, there are opportunities for growth through our own unique experiences and challenges. I am here to help you on that journey of growth.

Helping you heal, grow and thrive at every stage of life

I help preteens, adolescents, and their families navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD to develop emotional stability and build their “toolbox” with the skills they need to thrive in life.

I support BIPOC, Queer individuals, and young adult professionals facing life transitions, career pressures, racial trauma, and identity-related stress to gain clarity, confidence, and momentum toward the lives they want to live.

MY APPROACH

As a Black man, I know how exhausting it is to constantly shape-shift—to overperform, overdeliver, and overexplain just to be seen as worthy of the same respect as everyone else. To shrink parts of yourself so you’re not labeled too aggressive, too emotional, or too much.

This has taught me how to read between the lines, to hear the things people don’t always know how to say, and sometimes say the quiet part out loud to shake the table a little bit.

My work is rooted in helping youth and adults of color who’ve been “othered” feel fully seen. I offer care that affirms your identity, challenges harmful narratives, and helps you reconnect with your truth, beyond what society tells you you're supposed to be.

Don’t be afraid of yourself, and what you can become. Be afraid of what you will lose out on by not becoming who you are.
